Fay Page started small, in a bedroom on the island of St Agnes, it grew slowly into a shed, a greenhouse, a slightly bigger shed and now this lovely granite barn in Lowertown, St Martin's. Rob and I have been tenants of The Duchy of Cornwall since 2003 living in a tiny converted barn - in 2011 we were offered the tenancy on Ashvale so we could house our ever expanding jewellery business. We spent 18 months converting the studio and creating the workspace in what was formerly a flower packing shed attached to the farmhouse.

The cabinets were made by a friend and cabinet maker from old ship’s timbers, with some made to the exact specifications of the flower boxes that the former tenant, Fred, used to pack his flowers in before sending them to market on the mainland.

The workshop is attached to our family home and over the years our children have accompanied us in the workshop and it has felt very much an extension of home - we drift in and out to hang the washing out, put the bread on, get the kids up, get the coffee on. It feels like a good place to be and we hope you'll enjoy the relaxed atmosphere too (and the scent of coffee & bread!)

We are now on our Summer opening hours but in November they change to our Winter ones.

We are currently open Monday - Friday 9.00 - 16.00. 

(and we sometimes sneak off for lunch too)

We don't open at the weekend as, being an extension of our home and a business that runs for 51 weeks of the year, we need a bit of down time, a quieter house and time to enjoy the beautiful St Martin's. Weekends are spent in the garden, in the sea, on the beach, in the boat or, in the Winter, being buffeted to the Daymark on a wild walk.
